Titanic: a daily catastrophe
Marie Richerdson, a survivor of the tragic Titanic catastrophe, was interviewed last week successfully, because we learnt about some interesting and terrible news. This gentle and brave woman remarked that even though the tragic was an accident because the White Star Line transatlantic crushed with against an iceberg, the captain was advised wisely by professional employees working and accompanying him, he ignored their warnings and continued sailing at a high speed. Unfortunately, the transatlantic didn't have the required amount of safe lives and safe boats, so only rich people, kids and pregnant women could be saved. From the 2227 people travelling, 1512 people died. During the night of the accident, some people swam but only a few could survive, because many of them were murdered by the freezing temperature. They died, proudly, on the attempt. Our witness, Marie, was, at that time, a teenager who had the courage to swim, successfully to a safe place, a safe boat. She confessed that she was a low class girl, and as safe boats were already occupied, her only miserable opportunity to survive was to swim. She encouraged herself, and, miraculously, she could reach her purpose by swimming to a relatively short distance to the next safe boat, where she had an uncomfortable but, anyway, a voyage to the city of New York, where she was going with the objective of getting a new well-paid job. From that little safe boat, she had the privilege to see an amazing but also catastrophic view: the luxurious transatlantic broken in two as her damaged heart was. She saw tons of people being swallowed by the sea as if it were a horrific monster. Also, as she accessed the boat, she got informed by the other passengers of the safe boat about how the transatlantic impacted against the iceberg. And this was produced when 500 metres before crushing, the captains and sub-captains confirmed the warnings:an enormous iceberg of 30 metres could be seen. Frightened, the captain turned completely and tried to return. As a consequence of this movement, the transatlantic crushed on the lateral part, avoiding crushing on the front side, what, paradoxically, could have been a solution because the transatlantic would have floated and not sank. When she arrived to the glamorous city of New York, she was assisted by professionals and rich company owners who had felt compassion for her and employed her, so, currently, she is better than she was, but nobody could heal her broken heart, which suffered her siblings and parents deaths, plus 1580 deaths more. Luckily, after the need of bringing enough amounts of safe boats and safe lives was gathered, it expanded to the whole world. So, nowadays, a lot of people wouldn't die as if they fell from a seesaw at a mortal speed.
